Phew! Finally finished writing out my "discussion" and "conclusion" parts but they are SUPER long!! I'm now considering if to leave out the applicability to SG context part. Shall read it again tmr and maybe can consider piecing everything tog on Fri or Sat.
Yday spent about 1.5h vetting A's discussion and conclusion parts. I feel blessed to be born in SG and particularly under SG's education system where English is our 1st language..well, in a way la! Had some difficulties understanding some of A's sentences cos of the grammatical errors. Anyway his results is quite interesting...he found that there active commuting (walking and cycling) increases cardiovascular risk factors, particularly hypertension among healthcare workers!! But he managed to find reasons for that and I must say, they are pretty good ones...and very specific to his study population (Thai).
Videocalled with my niece today..she smiled so sweetly and apparently called me but the Skype connection was quite unstable today. She fell a few times today, bless her! Must be too hot..gong gong. And she shut the laptop screen again when I said bye bye!!! Naughty! My aunt also joined in the conversation..haha..she got her a frog princess plush which was cute..and she likes cos she kept staring and smiling at it! And I got present again! Heh..thanks, yi!!
Going to cook pork rib rice today..without chinese mushroom or lup cheong. I bought frozen pre-marinated pork ribs that day and thought I'll cook it with rice today and add soy, dark soy sauce and sesame oil. These days I have kinda stopped cooking bigger portions to share with them..haha..just lazy. At least I cook my portion I know I will have it for 2 days..hard to estimate if I cook more to share and may end up only eat for 1 meal.
Since I've more or less finished writing up the "discussion" and "conclusion" parts today, I will head to West Bromwich tmr as planned! Got to look for the craft materials and more souvenirs (hopefully Primark has new stock!) and maybe apples. This Sun going to the service in Uni and it will be my last Sun there cos they are taking a break in August..so prob go and say hi and bye...cos I haven't been there since mid May! Hah..time to give Pastor n his wife some SG souvenirs too.
*Added: I'm soooo proud of myself!!! I cooked this pork rib rice and I love it!!! Anyway, the frozen ribs are not precooked..so had to cook it first..and I cooked my rice a little undercook and then put it in the pot with the ribs, added my bak kwa (substitute for lup cheong..haha!) and carrots (to make it a little healthier) and then simmer till rice is cooked. YUMSSSS..Partly also cos the marinade for the ribs really taste Chinese! I smell the five spice powder! Hah..I opened the Chinese ones.other pack is BBQ.
