Back to Uni

Back from meeting with my tutor. Basically updated her on the articles I found and some limitations or challenges I faced. Then asked if putting primary and secondary aims will be clearer. She said yes and also added the SG context is ok when I asked if it's ok if I reflect my findings into the SG context. To her, I'm on the right track. I dunno leh..cos v strange that most of my articles didn't have any statistical data..but she said it's ok..just comment on it. I hope I'm not reading too much into things and giving myself too much pressure. Conclusion is that I'll write out the results and discussion and send it to her..then see if need to meet her. She was saying she drives from Kenilworth so usually has to plan everything on one day..she doesn't come in every day. Just googled where that is..it's in Warwickshire and between Coventry and Leamington Spa..that's quite a distance! Shall focus and finish writing and critiquing on my articles...and told El and Sil that I'll need their help too!

Anyway I went in Uni earlier wanting to snap some photos but there was a Uni fair today so loads of teenagers ard carrying bags from different Unis..and I saw so many Uni's prospectus in the bin! Such a waste! It is probably the busiest and most happening day I've seen ever!! But anyway today's sky wasn't blue..it was gloomy today (forecast was cloudy) so didn't take any photos. It was quite nice to see some of my classmates who are on the Dip in Occ Medicine course ending tomorrow..and of course nice to see Anna, our administrator..returned the calculator too. Oh, and I borrowed past dissertations to have a look and ask tutor about the way the ex-student wrote too..she said it's probably not the best to follow that particular one. Hmm..oh well, so I'll just do according to what is required. She has to get back to me about risk of bias across studies too.

Went to Aldi to get some essentials and decided to buy a pack of long grain rice so I can cook porridge..cos I think quite wasted to use Basmati rice to cook porridge and likely will take longer to get that consistency too. Planning to cook fish porridge tonight...lazy to think of what else to cook. Had wanted to eat my frozen soup but want to eat fish. No plans on what to cook for the next few days. Oh ya, saw the butcher along Bearwood selling gammon hocks for 2 for £2..tempting but no place to keep. Realised that they may be cured that's why call gammon and not pork hocks..googled that most people roast or cook soups with it. Maybe can buy one of the days.

Today was cooling..tested temperature from my room window and decided to wear a jacket..end up I took it off on the bus and walked ard without it...it was chilly but comfortable. Tomorrow and the weekend will be rainy! So shall stay home! Anyway I've work to do and am motivated to finish ASAP! I'm quite looking forward to Sun! Oh, I'm asked to do a dedication for offertory. Anyway was deciding what to bake/bring and chanced upon a cream cheese finger biscuits recipe and thought it'll be interesting..and ingredients are quite simple..and the other day I bought soft cheese cos there's offer if bought in 2s. Bought ground almonds instead of pecans as suggested in recipe. Probably bake on Sat.
