It was a wonderful day out!! Weather was just right..sunny but cool winds too. I was in my tshirt and berms and went to Birmingham Botanical Gardens as planned! Here are some of the pics I took...spent about 2hrs there. Will upload the photos on photobucket.

Went into town after that...and the flowers along the road and places have changed...
Went to get some cards posted and I used the self-service machine and I was v lucky cos I forgot to remove my debit card from the machine. The next person returned it to me..and heng I was there sticking my stamps and ensuring all is correct. Else I would be left with only £5 till the bank replaces my card! Made me realise I need to carry more £ around lor! Praise the Lord for honest people..haha!
Then went to Primark. It was v fun cos it was as if I was shopping with my mum!! All cos have whatsapp! Anyway I got 2 camisoles and a top for her..and got this top (on sale) and work pants for myself. Maybe this top can go with my kaki pants so I can wear it for the attachment. Now I see my that lacey top...looks a bit too formal especially if I wear with work pants! Haha..shall try on and see how.
Then went to find kids raincoat but Primark really doesn't have. Then went to Bullring and finally stepped foot into Selfridges Co. It's like a dept store that sells different branded brands..so Cath Kidston, Longchamp, The White Company etc. all are there. L loves to go there..almost every time she goes into town, she'll come back with Selfridges bag and/or Zara bag.
Earlier today, Sil asked abt my availability cos she finally can book leave and thought of coming over! It was such a pleasant surprise but we shall see! Oh, got HR's reply on hw many days of AL I have from last year too..v happy! But this year only 8 days. Oh, and my tutor finally replied me after I sent another email to ask and propose a time to meet tmr. It seems that maybe she didn't reply cos she was waiting for another meeting to confirm meeting time then she can plan her day. Anyway she suggested to meet at 2.30pm. Then my mum happen to be whatsapping me and told her..then she suggested for me to see other research and see how they present. Then it dawned upon me that I should loan out past dissertations again! The other time I loaned was in Feb when we had to do lit review. So did up the loan form and sent to our admin person. Also wanna return calculator back...heard from O that he returned his since last year's module! Ooops..haha..so anyway probably go in uni an hour earlier to read the dissertations then meet tutor.
Oh, and I was checking my work email and saw my 2nd boss's email asking me if I'm ok to take over one of the projects cos the lead is coming UK for studies. Haha..so funny..like can say no. But replied her tactfully..cos I haven't been in that project before so it'll be better if someone from the team can also assist. Then had been chatting with Cel on whatsapp too and told her abt it..more things to add to the to-do list! And Cel also wanna suggest partner me for one of the services lor..wah biang..hah..sabo! Haha..but actually my 2nd boss already said have plans for me to cover that la. Looks like I got to write a list of things/services to cover and discuss deadlines with my 2nd boss when I'm back else I'll be like octopus trying to handle everything at one time!! Anyway Cel's boy also v cute..haha..thought he was much older..but ok la..2 years older than my niece.
