focus!

Had a more productive day cos I was more focused today. Phew! But this morning, woke up again to a world without wifi. Told L and turns out (as usual) that the bill was not paid. This time L told me is cos she had some difficulties doing direct debit (aka GIRO). Anyway it was restored within 1.5 hr without me having wifi connection. At least she took the effort to get it done before she leaves for work. As I was telling her, I am not exactly lost without internet but my family back home will be worried if they don't hear from me (but I think cos this has been quite common, they should suspect too!). Cos my dissertation stuff all in my laptop so won't really need the internet that much, unlike if I was in my journal searching phase.

Anyway, A is done with his! I suspected too cos the last time I asked him for help, he mentioned he was finishing it. Good for him...but it also means I can ask him for help! Hahaha! I'll be helping him to vet through and edit his grammatical errors, if any..haha..it's really a blessing to have v supportive classmates who will cheer one another on, including O!

Today Poppy didn't really disturb me but I made her do business at noon cos L didn't have time to bring her to the park this morning. But the doors to the garden were left open should she need to do business also la..so I'm not too worried that she does it in the house.

Oh, in the afternoon read my work colleagues' whatsapp msgs and quite sad to know that dept may lose more good staff if opportunities are not given to them. I'm v blessed to be always in the team that is so supportive and my mandatory "rotation" was to do a research project so I was lucky in that sense that I didn't have to be rotated to other teams..esp the other big inpt team whose TL is not that nice..hahha! Anyway gave my opinion hw to help la...not that looking forward to gg back cos think many staff have changed.

I'm sooo tempted to book hol for after I submit my draft but don't feel comfortable doing that till I really am more or less done! But by then it will be more ex liao...unless I go nearby places lor. Envious that another PT colleague studying in London is in Edinburgh for hols now. She's the one who's coming to Bham for attachment in Aug..was telling her I can meet on the day she arrives (3/8) IF I'm not away. Haha..she really has been travelling a lot!! I rem she went to Greece last year for a marathon. Yes, she's a marathon runner type and super skinny..haha..coincidentally, she was also in UniSA for her deg conversion but not tt close to her la.

Tmr got date with my niece! Looking forward cos it has been 2 weeks since I last saw her via videocall! Then the rest of the day is aim to try and complete as much of my discussion as possible. I HAVE to finish it by this weekend. Intending to go West Brom on Thur since it'll be sunny. The forecast for Fri and Sat is rain and Fri is expected to hit 27°C and Sat will drop again to 22°C!
