Not sure how today went passed so quickly..but I managed to finish my last database search and collated all the articles that I can find from my library database and sent some to my colleague to ask her help me find from our hosp's lib's database. And I also started reading some articles to see if I should to include them or what parts are useful. So probably on track. Hope to finish going through the articles by tomorrow and then Mon can start writing up results again.
Then I tried out the cream cheese finger cookies recipe to bring to church tomorrow. The recipe was v strange..it read 1-3/4 cup flour..so initially I read as 1 3/4 cup then I realised it might mean 3/4 to 1 cup..so I just put 1 cup and it was v rich..so added another 1/2 cup but it became a bit doughy so added a bit more cheese. Haha..so I can't tell u if the recipe works. I guess it works if u stick to 3/4 or 1 cup flour. HAHA! But they are still edible and kept some aside for L and C. I finished baking ard 3.25pm and when I went downstairs again for my dinner preparation around 5.40pm, only 2 were left! I commented to L and C who were watching tv "u all are fast! Did u all like it?" and L said they were nice! Then C told me he had 4 when he went down earlier in the afternoon but asked what it was...hah..heng I kept aside some for myself..haha..they assume whatever I put there is for them. Actually is for L, not C lor! But that's good, it means tried and tested, it's good. I personally find that it's not cheesy enough..probably cos I didn't use proper cream cheese..cos what I bought was called soft cheese..and it's light..Read online should get full fat ones..but nvm la. So here's how they look (mind you, I rolled each one by hand!!) Do they remind u of short churros? Haha
Anyway for dinner, just thought I'll cook something simple and use up my potatoes (v fast start to grow "eyes" already)..so I cooked rosti! I added a fried egg but didn't show here cos I fully fried the egg..hah..so don't look nice in photos..haha! Kept half of it for tomorrow's dinner.
Tomorrow will be chapel anniversary and lunch (and viewing of J and S's wedding and honeymoon photos!)! Bringing my cam to hopefully snap some nice photos for keepsake. Oh, and I just realised that 2 of my colleagues had their wedding today! So quiet..didn't even know when was their big day till some colleagues posted photos on our team's whatsapp grp. The groom is from my sister church back home and also colleague but no chance to work with him yet and the bride, also OT, used to work in my team. Both of them did their deg conversion tog in Glasgow last year...and lucky them managed to see the Northern Lights and self-drive to Isle of Skye!
