Chicken curry

Did my laundry for my dark coloured clothes today. Cos I wanted to make sure my jeans was washed properly..after my Europe trip..haha..oh, today when I was packing my postcards to bring back SG, I found the collar pins I bought from Ireland..I thought I had packed them aside for my parents to bring back! Then looking at my postcards, I wanted to send one to LT and I whatsapped to ask if I had sent her one from London..and while waiting for her reply, I found a suitable one and turned to the back to start writing...only to realise I had already written halfway!! And it was addressed to her and her family! I couldn't believe myself! I guess I started writing and wanted to send together with her son's 1st bday card and forgot all about it!! So anyway I finished writing it and included in her bday card. Can't believe tt I am so absent minded..or maybe age IS catching up!

Skyped with my niece and aunt today. Today she wasn't in a v good mood as on Sun so when we asked her to do or say certain things, she just ignored us. Considering now's the 1st day of July (already!!), I'll probably get to see her and my family in 2 months' time! Kinda hoping to go back asap (miss my family, relatives, friends and homecooked food!!) but yet I'm really hoping to travel around before I go back! Given the short time, I'm kinda freaking out cos not long before I've to submit my research and I'm praying that I'm on the right track with my research or somehow scope it properly. Still waiting for tutor to reply me on the time to meet her on Thur. In the meantime I'm reading more on how to write up results and discussion according to the method proposed by the module lead. *praying and keeping the faith*

Cooked chicken curry today..used the vindaloo sauce and added my own curry powder. Considering I didn't add any other spices (I didn't buy), it turned out the best so far I cooked! Offered L and C too since C was not cooking tonight. They both loved it. Expected them to finish it cos I only cooked 5 thighs and 1 drumstick only..but think they know I keep my leftover for the next day so left a piece for me. Hahaha! I had mine with my baguette while they cooked their own rice. Saved 2 slices of baguette for my breakfast tmr with kaya!

Oh yes, I told M I'll be helping at the church's Craft and Wool fair on the last Sat of July. And offered to help in any way..and asked if I needed to teach/make some butterflies and got her reply today. They are thinking of doing a "have a go at a craft fair" and said my butterflies would be great for that. I suppose it means it's like a DIY booth/stall/table that people who come will learn to make butterflies. So replied asking if I need to prepare materials and how many to prepare for. The cost of these butterflies is v low..basically is to buy the "pipe cleaners" and cut out magazine papers. It'll be fun!

Heading to Botanic Garden tomorrow morning. Maybe I can get some inspiration or just relax in God's creations. Looking forward to it cos I haven't been there yet (cos there's admission charges so waited till flowering season..haha!).
