Ch did the service today..and I like hers cos always short and sweet and have many stories! 4 people have confirmed they are staying for SG meal next Sun...and include me will be 5. Another member said she'll only get back in the late afternoon so if I can pack for her a portion, she'll want to have it too...they teased and said I can do SG takeaway..then I said I can do home delivery cos she stays on the same road as me. Hahaha! So funny! Anyway, prob have to ask M how much to cater. After helping to wash up, took a bus to the train station. Since I had some time, I hopped over to the park to take pics of the pretty pink and red flowers! Had been wanting to take but have been quite lazy and "busy" to do it! So here they are!
Met S finally...haha..haven't met each other since we came to UK!! That bad right? Anyway she only came with a backpack, shoe bag and handbag! Walked around the city for a bit before heading to Toppokki for late lunch then went to N's place. Also vv long didn't meet N liao..so chatted a bit. He was saying he hasn't gotten all his data collected yet..and he was back in Indo for data collection. No wonder was MIA for a while..hah..and he's heading to London tmr till Wed. So trusting cos S also just came today..haha..then she will have whole house to herself for a few days..haha! After that went to Aldi which was open till 5pm (Sainsbury closes at 4pm) and Selly Oak area..to give her a bit of orientation. Then ended up at the Korean supermart and she was excited..she has always loved Korean food...seems she bought the Nonshim instant mee in London by 12 packs carton!! Goodness! Anyway I also bought a bag of Hot and Spicy Onion Rings! I rem mum loves that..and didn't see this flavour so bought to try. S was saying it's cheaper than in SG also..it was 59p. S had been travelling and was in SG for 2 mths lor..and she told me exciting news today too..she's getting married in Greece!!! No, her husband is not Greek..haha..is SG-Chinese..hahaa..they just wanna be different. Oh, and she told me HR person finally replied her on Fri night and said her comp crashed that's why she took so long to respond. We share the same HR person cos under same fund. So came home and checked but no reply from her. Next week is JCI week for our hosp so I guess everyone will be stressed.
Had planned to go Coventry tmr but asked S and she is keen too..but if she goes then it'll be on a weekend. Probably! But then also think she might wanna go other places near here. She's only here till 22nd Aug. So shall let her decide where she wanna go on 16th. I gathered I'll have to prep for the SG meal next Sat so keeping that day free.
Anyway this morning woke up to an empty house (ok la, apart from Poppy). They both stayed out last night. Only met them close to 7pm when they came back. They didn't say anything so I also didn't ask. I also didn't bother to give Poppy food or open the door for her in case she wants to do business..can't be bothered and she also didn't say anything.
