Lard biscuits

This morning was a VERY foggy day...see photos and you'll know what I mean!

Temp has been hovering between 2-4°C..and went to Uni today for the extra tutorial session. It was v fruitful..and I'm glad that the tutor uses spider diagrams (or what we call mindmaps) cos that's how I do my revision too. Only 6 of us turned up and Dr Steve was saying he didn't expect anyone to turn up...so funny!

Came home and did my washing for woolen clothes. Then decided to bake biscuits for my lunch. A few weeks ago I read about Ham and Cheese Lard biscuits and didn't end up baking them..so today thought I'll bake them since I have to use up the lemon and milk. They are absolutely YUMMY!!! Terribly addictive! It's biscuits like Popeye's biscuits. Shall save some for R in the freezer when she comes. Anyway for those who are looking at the recipe and don't have buttermilk, just add lemon juice to milk and leave it aside. L came back for about 10min during her lunch break and saw me baking but I told her don't know if it'll turn out well cos it seemed more sticky than it should be. Glad it turned out well!

And my friends in London just told me that they'll be coming for a day trip this Sat! Shall see where R wanna go on Sat...if city then prob can meet up with them. Oh ya, contacted R and asked how much stuff she has already..and she said quite heavy..hah..oops..so I guess what I can ask her to bring back for me is limited.

Cooked some sort of a cabbage chicken stew with Korean hot chilli paste for dinner tonight and tmr.
