beef casserole

Forgot to mention in yesterday's post that I knew of the riot at Little India! Sil sent a link to whatsapp grp last night. I was shocked!!! Followed the news online and newspaper too. Terrible!!! It looked like what happened in our history! Gosh! Anyway no way that the rioters will go scot free. To think I was just telling my thai and indo classmates that SG doesn't have strikes, riots or protests. Hmm...quite frightening when I watched the youtube video!

Anyway, today I made a trip down to Perry Barr to get something that I saw the other time. Heng it wasn't a wasted trip cos I managed to get it and also bought a pair of Clarks shoes for mum! Went to Aldi and bought loads of snacks, planning to get R to bring back for me. But after I packed everything, realised it's already quite heavy...so shall see how when R comes..if she has more baggage space. Else, ppl who don't get stuff this time, sorry! Also is not I go back la hor..so wait longer a bit.

Cos yesterday didn't cook, decided to cook beef casserole (without baking) today. Have been missing red meat a bit...or rather meat other than chicken...cooked 400g of beef so left 2 portions and 1 small one for L to try later. Tasted like something is missing..maybe cos I didn't put beef stock or proper herbs..haha..and of course, wine is missing!

And look what present L got for me and C...so funny! I asked her why didn't she get one for herself..she said it's for young people like us...haha..n C really like young boy..opened n ate up the chocolates till today's date!
