Nivea creme

And so, after a few days of staying home, I decided to head out today. Actually is to buy some groceries since I planned to cooked chicken curry tonight. Since where I was had Poundland, I headed there to get Nivea creme since my bro swears by it having similar ingredients as La Mer! See article here

After that headed to ALDI to get some groceries and ended up with a 1kg bag of frozen chicken portions, a bag of 5 oranges (with butt and at only 69p!!), spaghetti, milk and I chanced upon this "bake in the tin bread mix" and I bought 2 to try cos it was only 65p! The seeded bread only requires addition of cold water and proofing while the chocolate one asks for milk and oil and proofing. Thought I'll buy to try! Came home then saw that proofing needs to be at 30-50°C but I guess I can put it on the heater..or in the oven..haha

Anyway, cooked chicken curry tonight as planned and had it with my prata. Managed to keep 3 portions after that cos L&C were back late (and they had chicken drumsticks defrosted in the fridge so guessed C will be cooking too) and I washed up everything before they came back.

Crispy prata this time - practice makes perfect!

Had a nice catch up with PF who's studying in London but caught the winter flu, P, my Irish ex-colleague who's getting married and Cel who asked abt airfryer and then we went on to talk about work gossips..haha! Amid doing assignments, it's nice to hear from friends and family! Btw, kinda started planning my parents arrival in June..haven't settled dates nor tour nor accommodation yet partly cos of the uncertainty of my visa and dissertation but would love to take a few weeks off in June to do some travelling with them. I just have to pia a bit after I get back from Ireland and in May...but I'm also keen to go for Keukenhof (ie. Spring garden in the Netherlands). One of my close friends in SG had wanted to go too but may have change of plans..so may ask PF and SK if they wanna go too but I think their exams end only in May. Shall see how things go...studies should take priority!
