Britain's Got Talent!!!

Did my laundry this morning and then it's off to get our hands on Britain's Got Talent auditions! I arrived there close to 11am while A. and N came later..and I couldn't queue cos they need all to be present before we can start queuing to exchange the tickets. A. got lost cos he usually only goes to the direction towards Chinatown..haha. So when we wanted to queue, we were told that we will be given wristbands and to go back at 1pm to queue in order to see if we can get tickets. So we took the chance to roam around the library and Brindleyplace.

And so we went back to queue ard 12.30pm and they were already calling us to queue up..it was not until almost 1.45pm that they finally brought us in to wait for tickets. We were kinda freezing in the cold!! There was no sun today unfortunately! But praise the Lord, we managed to get in!

Look at the seat!!
After the longgg wait!!

Our tickets were apparently sponsored by Morrisons..I think they were reserved for their customers or suppliers or what. Morrisons is one of the supermarkets but I seldom go cos most of their supermarts are stand alone, more accessible by car. Anyway we were thrilled when we realised the seats were GREAT!! Look at how near we were to the stage!

The emcees Ant and Dec but they didn't do lots of emcee with audience

Presenting the judges
There's Simon Cowell

Here's Simon close-up shot
The performances..some were amusing..the audience can be quite critical and mean...but anyway, a few at towards the end of the show were pretty good. Particularly one is called Lettuce who plays the violin with modern tunes..and another lady who sang "A Natural Woman" with lots of feel and emotions. She made Amanda (one of the judges) feel proud to be a woman..I felt that way too! There was a funny one who did taichi with english song and moves apparently to fit the song. It was funny and he said he has produced DVDs too! I was telling A. and N that maybe his DVDs will be great for daycare centres for the elderly to follow...haha! The compere was super funny too, not Ant and Dec though. Anyway, I think we were the only 3 Asians there! Haha..

After that we went to Nandos for dinner. It was between Nandos or Zagora..and since A. hasn't tried Nandos before, we headed there. Ordered a full platter which consisted of a whole chicken and 4 regular sides.

Had such a wonderful day out..or half day out! Shall hit the books tomorrow! N will be flying back to Indo to bring his family here in 2 weeks' time! And A. will be gg to London end week when his parents come. I shall concentrate on my literature review and assignment then Fri head to Solihull..then the next break week finalise assignment and then hopefully lit review.
