sent my passport!

I'm officially grounded in UK. Yes, I sent off my passport and supporting documents today after class. The lady suggested I take the Special Delivery that guarantees my parcel to be received by 1pm tmr (if not £500 will be compensated) and won't be mixed with normal mail...but that costs £6.95! Whatever la..haha..no choice. Anyway waiting for all the fees to be paid before I send to HR to claim..cos i think Biometric thingy also costs £! Everything here is about £££!

Anyway today's classes were alright..went through criminal law (which health and safety act sits under) and enforcement actions. Our module lead empathised with us on the assignment question but she's been v nice to tell us how to do it..like what to write on..and we were given a little presentation homework to do which can help us. We're supposed to present on thur or fri. I got an easy topic..identify an element of the criminal law and explain it and why it is good. And so I chose the Control of Noise at Work Reg and I managed to finish my ppt when I came home till I prep dinner..abt 1h.

A., N and my nigerian classmate, O, and I were discussing about inviting N and his family out for a meal since N's bday coming...then A. asked N when he's inviting us over to his place for a cooking session too! Haha..it'll be fun! Likely on the last day of our last assignment, which is in 3 weeks' time! Occ Mental Health results should be out this week...it had been delayed and I can guess why cos the module lead said we could write as much as we want..haha!

Cooked Chicken Kiev and added my sides...I'm soooo full!! But it's ok cos it's mostly vege that filled me up!

I made sweet potato salad for tomorrow's lunch...tomorrow's a long day..9.15am to 4.45pm..hope it ends earlier...but at least it's not tt bad going back from uni late cos now the sun sets ard 6pm and rises at 6.30am..so we are having longer days..heard it'll be even longer come summer! And O. was saying it may be bright ard 4+am and only gets dark at 8 or 9pm?!?!
