Was v tired today and had aching shoulders...so decided to leave conference earlier. I was also a bit worried about my assignment. I think none of my classmates turned up today for the conference cos I didn't meet any..and I contacted one of them who said he's working on his assignment so didn't go..and A. and N still didn't couldn't make it. Anyway I didn't skip it cos today's was on Vocational Rehab and Case Management, my area of specialisation. But the info was kinda I already aware of..but some speakers provided some good reference to journal articles so shld look into them for my dissertation.
Anyway this morning I told L to help me look out for a courier mail which I'm expecting. Actually I should've waited for my letter to arrive before paying and submitting my application online. But it should arrive within 15 days la. And she was telling me of places my parents and I can visit. Good that I managed to get to the train station on time..hahaha! Then at the end of the day, cos A. printed it for me, managed to meet him at the train station earlier..bought him M&S choc digestive biscuits in return of the favour..he wasn't expecting it at all..haha. This online application makes me wonder what's the use of submitting online when I still have to print it out and submit?
After that went to Home Bargains to look for A4 envelopes...but they didn't have..then went to post office to see if they sell..they did..white ones..4 or 5 in a pack for £1.49..so I guess I'll just buy from there if needed. Cos I also am unsure if they have special envelopes. I only know from the form that they say avoid padded envelopes. I don't even know if I am supposed to go or the Passport Check and Send service...but I'll just go to the branch and ask.
Oh yes, last night, my Irish ex-colleague finally replied me via whatsapp. Told her of the situation of my VISA. She was soooo nice and optimistic...said if I can't make it for the wedding, she'll still wanna meet up with me at some point..and added that by then maybe I would be able to better plan where I wanna go! Hahaha..we shall see!
Working on my assignment to cut down words and see what to put in Appendix. I'm hoping the letter comes tomorrow or latest Fri so I can send it off before my uni week starts..else hard to make it to the Post Office given that classes are usually during opening hours of the Post Office and my uni's postal services do not send passports. Tmr had planned to get some groceries..maybe from West Brom..or ASDA..then Sun go Aldi. I also dunno what to cook the next few days..maybe scotch broth or Provenance fish dish (basically tomato based cod fish dish). Ohh..L so cute..said she needs to get big bottle of peanut butter for her and me. I was puzzled...then she said she had nibbed mine..haha..I didn't even realise! Cos I haven't used my peanut butter for some time. I told her it's ok..I can get when I've finished mine.
