pork chops

Class started at 10am today and surprisingly not everyone was on time despite the late start! Anyway Poppy poo-ed on the kitchen floor this morning. Today had 2 hr lunch break!!!! Cos we spent less time discussing about our worksite visit yday and our lecturer had a lunch appt at 12.30pm as scheduled so can't push other lecture earlier so we can leave earlier. But I managed to do some reading for the assignment...think it's quite doable...hope I don't exceed the word limit! This is the assignment title ‘Discuss the value of ‘the law’ as a tool in setting, maintaining and improving standards in the workplace’.

We were discussing if we need to complete the authorised absence form if we were going on holiday during "term time" and it seems we need to but then when I came home and read, holiday as reason may be refused! So then...should we even fill the form if is within EU? Anyway I'll probably ask again next time.

Tmr is mainly case studies and discussions...prob a half day! Yay! I think I'll go ASDA tmr after class. Thinking of buying the frozen cubed beef to cook some time next week..and some vege probably. Will see if I can resist temptation of donuts when I'm there..haha!

Cooking pork chops with broccoli, carrot, baked mushrooms tonight. Maybe sweet potato too or pasta..not sure which yet.

*Added: and so this was my dinner. Cooked another portion for tomorrow too but will be pasta with pork chops for tmr. Amazing how different pasta can taste..cos I bought the one from ASDA normal range this time..quite different from the basic range or even Aldi's.
