Didn't do much today cos was working on my assignment. This assignment seemed straightforward and allows some creativity to be injected cos we are supposed to come up with a proposal so that the company we did a worksite visit last Thu will want to choose our company to do routine occupational health provision! So my company is called AiCare OH Ltd..hahahaa!
Earlier today, skyped with my niece..oh boy..she's so fierce..and can stop her screaming suddenly...maybe she'll be an actress when she grows up..hahha! Then she ran to my bro when my dad n bro came home from work. I thought she'll run to my dad (ie. her grandpa) lor..hahaha! Oh yes, and I got the wedding gift my friend sent over for me to bring over to P.
Oh yes, last night I booked my air tix to Dublin with PF! She'll fly from London Gatwick while I'll fly from BHam. My flight is at 8am on Sun, 13th April and reach at 9.05am while hers will reach at 11+am. We booked our accommodation at the hotel where the wedding reception will be held for that night. The rest of the nights we will stay with the newly weds (except the night before the wedding) and one night at her parents on a farm!! I'm v thick skinned to ask if we can stay with them. One thing is also cos v last min..scared can't find accommodation in the city. As for the night before the wedding, prob will stay near the church. Then last night before sleeping, it dawned upon me that I'm leaving on a Sun, so I might not have bus service that early. And so I checked and I was right!! First bus from my place is at 8.05am! Oh man...then this morning checked journey planner to see what other ways I can go...only the options to reach the airport at midnight appeared..else 8+am! Arghs! Cos I have been taking bus into town for my trains at 7+am..but I didn't realise they were weekdays or Sat. Anyway the next flight on Sun or Sat flights were more ex. Now I'm thinking of taking either pte car hire (mostly driven by Indians) or be thick skinned to ask L if she can send me. If she needs to work that day then I won't feel so bad cos it will make her wake up earlier n bring Poppy for a walk before going to work. She has been running late for work recently..haha! I shall ask her one day. I did tell her this morning that I have booked my flights..and she said I have to go and meet up our ex neighbour's mum. But God has been great to me so I'm sure things will work out!
Will continue working on my assignment for the next 2 days. Hopefully will be done by Fri so I can start my shopping! I'm still not used to seeing daylight at 8pm!! I think I'll get lesser sleep when summer comes! But good for exploring though...haha! Will forget to eat dinner at regular times lor!
